I was fortunate to have grown up in a home that fostered creativity from a very early age. I used to draw and paint well into the night. If we were bored, we had to make art. My father was an accomplished woodworker and designer, allowing me to play and learn his craft. My mother is also a painter and encouraged me, along with my brother and sister to be creative.

I have been influenced by travel to South America, Mexico, Costa Rica, Wyoming and Lake Tahoe, California. Always looking at mountains, the ocean and animals for inspiration. I am also inspired by a select few successful international artists and their work.
